> Description

No runs or drips Cures quickly Precision applicator This glue is the original super glue, but in a gel form. We use it to attach java fern, anubias, bolbitis, mosses, and bucephalandra to wood and rocks as it doesn't run or drip. It bonds instantly, cures quickly, and can be used in even the smallest, hard-to-reach places with the precision applicator. Super glue gel is completely safe for fish, plants, snails, shrimp, and other aquarium animals. Each tube of Aquarium Co-Op Super Glue Gel contains 0.17oz / 5g of glue, each pack contains two tubes Contains: — Ethyl-2-Cyanoacrylate — Polymethyl methacrylate Directions: 1. Protect clothing and work surfaces, and use in a well-ventilated area. Keep out of reach of children. 2. Point the tube away from your face and body. Do not squeeze the tube while puncturing. To puncture, screw the nozzle and cap assembly onto the tube completely. 3. Remove the outer cap. 4. Apply the glue sparingly (one drop per squre inch) to one surface only. 5. Press the pieces together for 30 seconds or until set. We recommend gluing the plant's roots if possible (rather than the rhizome), since too much glue on the rhizome can cause the plant to suffer. Also, use the outer cap to press the plant to the hardscape, since the glue does not stick to the cap. 6. Clean the applicator tip and replace the outer cap after use.

> Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is super glue safe for aquariums?
A: Yes, this super glue gel is completely safe for fish, plants, snails, shrimp, and other aquarium animals when fully cured. The gel formula is specifically designed for aquatic use and won't leach harmful substances into the water. Its precision applicator and no-drip formula make it ideal for planted tank maintenance.
Q: What size and quantity come in aquarium super glue?
A: Each pack contains two tubes of 0.17 ounces (5 grams) per tube, totaling 10 grams of glue. The two-tube format allows you to keep one tube in regular use while the other remains sealed for extended shelf life. Each tube includes a precision applicator and outer cap.
Q: What aquatic plants can you use this glue on?
A: This gel is designed for attaching java fern, anubias, bolbitis, mosses, and bucephalandra to wood and rocks. The precision applicator works in tight spaces without running or dripping. The formula is safe for all these delicate plant types and other aquarium animals.
Q: How do you apply aquarium super glue gel?
A: Apply sparingly—approximately one drop per square inch—to one surface only. Press pieces together for 30 seconds until set. For best results, glue the plant roots rather than the rhizome to avoid plant damage. Use the outer cap to press pieces, as the glue won't stick to it.
Q: What are the ingredients in aquarium super glue?
A: Aquarium Safe Super Glue Gel contains Ethyl-2-Cyanoacrylate as the active adhesive and Polymethyl methacrylate. Both ingredients are formulated to be aquarium-safe when fully cured. The product is specifically engineered for wet aquatic environments without harmful chemical leaching.
Q: Does aquarium super glue run or drip underwater?
A: No, the gel formula specifically prevents running or dripping, making it superior to liquid super glue for underwater use. This design is critical because traditional liquid glues would disperse into the water. The precision applicator provides controlled application without mess.
Q: How quickly does aquarium super glue cure?
A: This super glue bonds instantly upon contact and cures quickly, allowing efficient work on multiple plants during aquascaping sessions. The rapid bonding requires only 30 seconds of holding pieces together, making it practical for handling delicate aquatic plants and precise placement.
Q: What surfaces does aquarium super glue stick to?
A: The glue bonds aquatic plants securely to hardscape materials including wood and rocks, the primary substrates in planted aquariums. It provides long-term attachment that won't degrade in wet aquatic environments. The formula is safe for all standard aquascaping materials.
Q: How much does aquarium super glue cost?
A: Aquarium Safe Super Glue Gel is priced at $5.99 USD for a two-tube pack containing 10 grams total. This budget-friendly price point makes it cost-effective for multiple aquascaping projects. The precision applicator's controlled dispensing means each tube lasts through multiple applications.
